William Wesley Jones

Memorial Service for William "Buzz" Jones, 61 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on August 31, 1962 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Evelyn (Smith) Jones and Albert Edward Jones Sr. and passed away on May 13, 2024 in Stilwell, Oklahoma.  He worked at OK Foods and was a sod layer. 

Survivors are one son, Bobby Jones of Van Buren, AR; two grandchildren, Lilli Jones and Noah Jones; three sisters, Pauline Jones of Sallisaw, OK, Nellie Palmer of Muldrow, OK, and Cindy Jones of Fort Smith, AR; three brothers, Albert Jones Jr. of Fort Smith, AR, Mike Jones of Muldrow, OK, and Jerry Don Jones of Sallisaw, OK; four nieces, Tabitha Mooney, Chelsie Jones, Lainey Evans and Lindsey Steel; three nephews, Joshua Jones, Cameron Mott, and David Steel; great-niece, Karlie; great-nephews, Brinn, Cooper, Wyatt and Jaxx; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Carolyn Jones. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh Jones, Bobby Jones, Noah Jones, Matthew Jones, David Steel, Mike Jones, Ronnie Palmer, H. Palmer, Albert Jones, and Blaine Mooney.
