He was born on November 30, 1955 in Bengal, Oklahoma to Ethel (Woods) Crawford and Edward Leroy Crawford and passed away on June 17, 2025 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Marjorie (Anderson) Crawford in 1976 in Marble City, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on January 29, 2024. He worked for Mills Drilling.

Survivors are two daughters, Marjorie Lynch and Lewis of Sallisaw, OK and Kristy Houston and Samuel of Vian, OK; two sons, Samson Crawford of Sallisaw, OK and William Leroy Crawford Jr. and Misti of Sallisaw, OK; nine grandchildren, Forrest Crawford, Amanda Condit, Johnny Hennessee, Amanda Rene Creech, Ricky Hennessee, Zoe Livers, Jeremiah Cordray, Stormy Crawford and Melanie Crawford; seven great-grandchildren, Forrest Eli, Laken, Fisher, Oakley, Hazel, Neveah and Grayson; two brothers, Stevie Crawford of Sallisaw, OK and Buddy Crawford of Texas; one sister, Janie Cummins of Oklahoma City, OK; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and two sisters, Sue Eubanks and Margaret Seaton.
