William Calvin Womack

Funeral Service for William Calvin Womack, 78, of Gans, Oklahoma will be at Noon on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will be at 1:00 PM at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on July 12, 1945 in Dallas, Texas to Margaret Elizabeth Durham and James Mervin Womack and passed away on September 18, 2023 in Gans, Oklahoma. He was married to Beverly (Wilson) Womack on October 6, 2001 in Mesquite, Texas. William was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War and formerly worked in management at Aloe Vera of America, Inc. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are wife, Beverly of the home; two daughters, Kimberlie Kaye Gates and Kevin and April Michelle Wright; five sons, William Chad Womack, Charles Goldsberry, Travis Warford, Adrian J. Womack and Triston L. Womack; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Glenda Duncan and Margie Horn; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Tommy Womack; and four sisters, Kaye Loggins, Doris, Norma Smith and Pauline Andersen.

Active Pallbearers will be A.J. Womack, Tristan Womack, Brian Williams, Franklin Lightfoot, Charles Goldsberry and Logan Lightfoot.
