She was born on October 16, 1951 in Ft. Gaines, Georgia to Bobbie Farise (Martin) Norris and Merlin Norris and passed away on May 6, 2024 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to Larry Holmes on June 2, 1997 in Laughlin, Nevada. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2020. Mrs. Holmes was a phlebotomist.

Survivors are one daughter, Kimberly Perkins of Sallisaw, OK; three step-daughters, Tammy Holmes of Sanford, N.C., Kathy Holmes of Sanford, N.C. and Angie Holmes of Sanford, N.C.; one stepson, Jerry W. Holmes of Sanford, N.C.; two sisters, Bobbie Pascale of Shorterville, Alabama and Tammy Norris of Shorterville, Alabama; and several other relatives and friends.

She preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Connie Norris.
