Walter Wright

Cremation Service for Walter Wright, 76, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on February 1, 1948 in Picher, Oklahoma to Bessie Margaret (Kirk) Wright and Walter Columbus Wright and passed away on June 28, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Martha (Haywood) Swenson. She preceded him in death on February 17, 2020. He worked in maintenance.

Survivors are two daughters, Teri Hannah of Muldrow, OK and Judith Chapman of Milan, TN; two sons, Chris Wright of Oklahoma and Charley Wright of California; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Martha Swenson; and three grandsons, Colton Waters, Caliber Waters and Chance Waters.
