Vivian Bee Flynn, 81, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home on February 3, 2023. She was born on September 27, 1941 in Paterson, New Jersey to Elsye Bee and Ralph Arthur Schunk. Vivian graduated from William Paterson College and taught English at Central and Kennedy High Schools in Paterson, New Jersey until her retirement. She loved to read and do crossword puzzles when her vision would allow her. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and James Blount; four beautiful grandchildren, Leah, Olivia, Isabella, and Sarah Blount; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Joseph White; a niece and her husband, Diane and David Webb; and a great-niece and her significant other, Caitlin Webb and Michael J Kortenhaus.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents.

Vivian was a kind and gentle soul and will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know her.
