Virginia "Kay" Brunk

Virginia "Kay" Brunk, 81 of Muldrow, Oklahoma went to be with her heavenly father on October 21st, 2026 in the comfort of her home.

She was born October 6th, 1945 in West Uniontown Oklahoma to Claude and Hazel Ragg. She married the love of her life Danny Brunk in 1963. They were married for 62 years before his passing.

She was a self-taught pianist with a beautiful voice who shared her talent at Uniontown Assembly of God, Lee's Chapel Church and Roland Assembly of God. She loved to play and sing at home for Danny and all of her kids and grandkids.

She was a devout Christian who deeply and fiercely believed in the power of prayer and kept a long prayer list, praying for her entire family, friends, acquaintances, and even strangers who just simply needed prayers.

She had a positive loving energy and loved all things of nature. She had a green thumb, with indoor plants being her specialty. She loved watching and feeding the birds, especially the Road Runner, squirrels and deer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers G.T. Ragg and Kenneth Ragg, three sisters Ann Hibbard-Myers, Jerlean Armer and Brenda White.

She is survived by her children Billy Brunk and wife Mary Kaye of Roland, Jerry Brunk and wife Ginger of Central, Gina Breeden and husband Darrell of Muldrow, Sherri Cude of Muldrow and Jason Brunk of Muldrow. She was a proud grandmother to 20 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 28 (and counting) great-grandchildren. She had a large extended family and several friends who were an important part of her life as well and can't forget her watch dog Buddy.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the care of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home.
