Vicky Renee Johnson

Vicky Renee Johnson, 65, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on April 25, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on December 30, 1960, in Sallisaw to Gladys Marie (Shepard) Ledford and Charles Lester Ledford, Vicky was a convenience store clerk who touched many lives.

She is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Trisha Duncan of Sallisaw, OK, and Mya Johnson of Belton, MO; and her four sons, Terry Franklin and Elise of Blue Springs, MO, Christian Johnson and his fiancée, Kristen Reese, of Sallisaw, OK, Damien Johnson and Tamra of the USS Navy, and David Johnson of Tulsa, OK. Vicky also cherished her five grandchildren—Madison Iona Harshberger, Jessalyn DeClerk and Trevor, Kaitlyn Lee and Wyatt, Gwen Franklin, and Terry Franklin, Jr.—and one great-grandchild, Roman Martin Johnson.

She is survived by her nieces, Mandy Reed and Mike of Sallisaw, OK, and Tonyia Rank and Brian of Fort Smith, AR; her nephew, Coultin Hill; her brother, Wesley Wayne Ledford of Sallisaw, OK; two sisters-in-law, Donna Speak and Dewayne of Excelsior Springs, MO, and Pat Johnson of Blue Springs, MO; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, including the cherished Girls of ’79.

Vicky was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ricky Ledford and Norman Ledford; her granddaughter, Bianca Polleri; her mother-in-law, Nokie Iona Johnson; and her dear best friend, Stacy Jordan.

Services for Vicky are pending under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. She will be laid to rest at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home.

Vicky Renee Johnson will be fondly remembered for her warmth, dedication, and the love she shared with her family and friends throughout her life.
