Theresa Renea (Mowdy) Bush

Graveside service for Theresa Renea (Mowdy) Bush, 55 of Muskogee, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 12, 2023 at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on August 28, 1967 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Dyhana (Petree) Mowdy and Donald Lee Mowdy and passed away on June 7, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was married to Mark Bush on May 18, 1990 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. Bush was a retired American and World History teacher for Fort Gibson Public Schools.

Survivors are husband, Mark of the home; two daughters, Brittany McMullen of Gore, OK and Brooklyn Fulton and Robert of Eufaula, OK; one son, Mark Bryar Bush and Zoe of Tulsa, OK; two grandsons, William McMullen and Atlas Bush; three sisters, Sandy Pritchett of Dora, OK, Shelli Barnes of Sallisaw, OK and Dawna Mefford of Sallisaw, OK; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Daniel Mowdy.

Viewing will be 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
