Susan Keefner

Susan Keefner passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 74. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

Susan graduated from Cy-Fair High School in Champions, Texas, in 1971. She went on to serve as a court reporter for both LeFlore and Sequoyah counties.

Susan is survived by her son, Mathew Daniel George; two cherished grandchildren, Micaella and Joaquin; her sisters, Rebecca Tolle and her husband, Larry, of Minnesota, and Carol Keefner of Vian, Oklahoma; and her brothers, Craig Keefner and his wife, Carolynn, of Colorado, Edward Keefner III and his wife, Shelly, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Kevin Keefner and his wife, Bobbie, of Roland, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward William Keefner Jr. and Joyce Lean Keefner. Susan’s memory will also be cherished by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

A celebration of Susan’s life for all friends and family will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
