Sam "Sammy" Randolph

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sam "Sammy" Randolph, aged 63, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, who departed this life on October 16, 2025. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Sam was born on February 9, 1962, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, to the late Carolyn Ann (Richardson) and Sam Randolph, Jr. He grew up in Sallisaw and dedicated his professional life to the community, serving for 36 years with the City of Sallisaw, where he was street superintendent for over 15 years. He was passionate about his work and took pride in contributing to the betterment of his hometown.

On May 24, 1986, Sam married his beloved wife, Becky Sue (Thomas) Randolph, in Sallisaw. Their bond was a beautiful testament to their love and commitment to each other.

In his leisure time, Sam found joy in various activities, including driving race cars, fishing, hunting and watching OU and Dallas Cowboy football. His passion extended to reloading ammunition, a hobby he cherished. An animal lover, he shared a special companionship with his dog, Bocephus "Bo," who was his constant companion and best friend.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Becky; son, Hunter Thomas Randolph of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; uncle, Sonny Richardson and JoAnn of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Sandee Tackett and Ron of Bella Vista, AR; brother-in-law, Randy Thomas and Brenda of Sallisaw, OK; great nieces and nephews, Emily, Jeff, Rhett, Jeremy, Aliza, Ila Rae, Ayson, Lauren, Tanner, Wesley, Airon, Josh, and Noah; along with numerous cousins, relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bobby Randolph.

A funeral service honoring Sam's life will take place at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Akins Cemetery, with arrangements entrusted to Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Active pallbearers will include Kenny Shakenbush, David Lockhart, Mark McDonald, Jeremy Tackett, Ayson Tackett, and Hunter Randolph.

Viewing will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, where the family will greet visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
