She was born on February 20, 1937 in Vian, Oklahoma to Thelma (Duffield) Moss and Barry Thomas Moss and passed away on September 14, 2025 in Vian, Oklahoma. She was married to Jerry Gene Cawhorn on January 14, 1957. He preceded her in death on January 15, 2023. She was a retired operator from Southwestern Bell Telephone and a member of Vian Baptist Church.

Survivors are daughter, Cindy (Cawhorn) Dorr and Joe of Vian, OK; grandson, Whit Jameson and Danielle of Parks, AR; sister, Martha Ann Morris of Vian, OK; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Cawhorn; her parents; one daughter, Sherry (Cawhorn) Christopher; three sisters, Bernice Stone, Ginny Lam, and Marie Keilberg; and three brothers, Joe Moss, Bill Moss, and Leon Moss.
