Russell Edward "Russ" Heiner, Jr.

Russell Edward "Russ" Heiner, Jr., age 72, of Roland, Oklahoma, passed away on November 28, 2025. He was born on September 24, 1953, in Hanover, Pennsylvania, to Pauline (Reese) Heiner and Russell Edward Heiner, Sr. 

Russ enjoyed a fulfilling career in the paint and auto body profession, where his passion for fixing and painting vehicles flourished. He had a special love for race cars, Ford vehicles, and welding, which highlighted his hands-on spirit and craftsmanship. In addition to his professional pursuits, Russ cherished moments spent with his family, enjoying hobbies such as barbecuing and gardening.

He married Elaine (Hightower) Heiner in April of 1982, and they shared many beautiful years together until her passing on March 23, 2013. Russ leaves behind his loving daughter, Tricia Chambers, and her husband, Scott, of Muldrow, Oklahoma. He was proud of his four grandchildren: Jordan Self, Kyle Coatney and Jada, Logan Coatney and Whitley, and Madison Chambers, as well as his five great-grandchildren: Carter Self, Ellis Coatney, Peri Coatney, Camden Coatney, and Declan Self. Russ is also survived by several nieces, cousins, and friends who will remember him dearly.

Russ was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elaine; son, Rusty Heiner; great-grandson, Cooper Self; and five sisters: Shirley Gobrecht, Evaline Leese, Helina Love, Mary Hippensteel, and Annabell Storm.

A funeral service to celebrate Russ's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Roland City Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 1 PM to 8 PM at the chapel, in Muldrow, where the family will greet guests from 5 PM to 7 PM. 

Active pallbearers will include Scott Chambers, Kyle Coatney, Logan Coatney, Destin Coatney, Keith Coatney, and Shawn Hallum.

Russ's spirit will remain alive in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, and he will be profoundly missed.
