Rose Mary Anderson

Rose Mary Anderson, age 79, passed away on February 7, 2026, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 18, 1946, in Mountain Grove, Missouri, to Charles Conley Bond and Viva Belle (Bryant) Bond. Rose grew up in the Rocky Point community, where she formed lifelong roots and relationships. She graduated from Sallisaw High School in 1965. On May 22, 1968, she married Edward Anderson, and together they shared 30 years of marriage before his death on September 18, 1998.

Rose was a woman of quiet strength who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and playing dominoes, activities that brought comfort and togetherness to those around her. A devoted Christian, she loved Jesus and lived her life guided by faith, kindness, and compassion. She was a charter member of Rocky Point Baptist Church, where she faithfully worshiped and served since July 27, 1980.

Rose dedicated 32 years of service to Whirlpool Corporation, retiring in 2009.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deanna Lynn; her husband, Edward; her brother, Charles Bond; and her parents, Charles Conley Bond and Viva Belle Bond.

Rose is survived by her daughter, Christa Williams, and husband Brian, both of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Selrah Smith, Shylah Smith, and Braxton, Holden, and Lauren Williams; her great-grandchildren, Jonas, Carson, Eleanor, and Mia Rosas; her siblings, Helen Ruark and Russell Bond, both of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Carol Lawson of Keota, Oklahoma, and Janie Kolterman and husband Don of Fort Wayne, Indiana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 10 AM - 8 PM on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, with the family in attendance from 6 - 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rocky Point Cemetery, north of Sallisaw.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Braxton Williams, Holden Williams, Tyrone Bond, Kevin Ruark, Dylan Lawson, and Jonas Rosas.
