Roberta Lineberry, age 65, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on March 1, 2026. She was born on August 7, 1960, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Alta Marie (Jones) McCormick and Robert Parker.
Roberta's journey in life was filled with dedication and hard work. She married Jackie Lineberry, Jr. on August 10, 1979, in Sallisaw, and together they built a loving family. Known for her warm-hearted nature, she began her career as a waitress at Pizza Hut at the young age of 14. Her commitment to the community continued when she worked at Western Sizzlin from its opening until its closure. Following this, she served as a paraprofessional for Sallisaw Public Schools, touching the lives of many young learners.
Roberta is survived by her loving husband, Jack, and their three children: two daughters, Jaklene Brooks and husband Joe of Brushy, OK, and Jerika Johnson and husband Zach of Greenwood, AR, as well as a son, Jackie Lineberry III and wife Megan of Battle Creek, MI. She cherished her five grandchildren: Joe Brooks, Eli Brooks, Haven Kightlinger, Olivia Lineberry, and Jackie Lineberry IV, who brought immense joy to her life. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Rebecca Parker of Sallisaw, OK, along with several other relatives and friends.
Roberta was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Parker.
A funeral service to celebrate Roberta's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Brushy Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
The family will hold a viewing on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, where they will greet visitors from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Roberta's spirit and kindness will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
