Rita Jean (Stegall) Steidley

Cremation Service for Rita Jean Steidley, 88 of Vian, Oklahoma is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.  Burial of cremains will be at a later date at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma.

She was born on July 31, 1935 in Vian, Oklahoma to Edna Jewell (Roark) Stegall and Jack Edgar Stegall and passed away on September 18, 2023 in Vian, Oklahoma. Mrs. Steidley was a homemaker and retired teacher assistant from the Headstart program in Vian, OK. She was an avid painter and enjoyed making ceramics. She was a long time member of Vian Baptist Church.

Survivors are one son, John Bennett and wife, Soon; two grandchildren, Jamie Bennett Henning and husband, Mark and Jennifer Renee Bennett Truran and husband, James; one great-grandchild, Emilia Iris Truran; one sister, Mary Conrad; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Carl Steidley; her parents and one brother, Joe E. Stegall.
