Rick Rush

Rick Rush, age 66, of Marble City, Oklahoma, passed away on April 7, 2026, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was born on January 23, 1960, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Louella Jodene (Kennedy) Rush and Gerald Francis Rush. Rick proudly served as a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Rick is survived by his sister, Ronice Copeland of Van Buren, Arkansas; his niece, Britanie Nieto of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; his nephew, Derick Rush and Kristean of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; along with several other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Blunt Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Following the service, Rick will be laid to rest at Deer Meadow Cemetery in Marble City, Oklahoma, under the care of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Viewing will take place at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, with a time for family greeting from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday.

Active pallbearers honoring Rick Rush will be Troy Parker, Austin Parker, Canyon Parker, Rodney Copeland, Craig Stites, and Derick Rush. Honorary pallbearers include Hampton Gibson, Ty Gibson, Kenny Weaver, Tom Hawkins, and the Sallisaw High School Class of 1977.

Rick Rush’s life and service are remembered with respect and appreciation by all who knew him.
