Richard Lease

Funeral Service for Richard Lease, 38, will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Blackgum Harvestime Church in Vian, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Box Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Richard was born on April 18, 1987, in Glendale, California, and passed away on January 7, 2026 by his Mothers side.

Richard was the son of Jason Lease and Lori Rich, and stepson to Toni Evans and Beth Lease. He was a beloved brother to Colton Lease, Katelynn Russell, Mykala Rich and fiancé, Anthony Rutjes, and Chance Rich; stepsister, Keri Guardiola; and stepbrothers, Lane Young and Chris Young.

Richard was a loving and devoted father to Adrianna Chene, Brooklyn Holst, Logan Lease, and Harley Lease; mother of his children and former wife, Nicole Lease. Being a father was one of the greatest joys of his life, and his children were his pride and purpose. He was patient, protective, and deeply present, always striving to guide, support, and love them well. His family meant everything to him, and everything he did was rooted in caring for those he loved. His friends were family to him, and he built strong, loyal relationships that meant the world to him.

He is survived by his grandfather, Paul Lease; his fiancée, Kelsey Beaty, and her boys, Tali and Zachary; four aunts, Sally Thompson-Poillot, Margie Falls, Judy Poillot, and Meiske Capelle; uncle, Pierre Poillot; cousins, Danny Tieszen and girlfriend, Leona, Johnny Tieszen and Natalie, Marie Peters and Gage, and Kris and Sara Kaiser; and many other cousins and loved ones;

along with close friends, Dustin Kelly, Erick Coury, Harley Carrender, Derrick and Jessica Rogers.

Richard was baptized at Blackgum Harvestime Church in Vian, Oklahoma, and also attended Mixon Baptist Church in Booneville, Arkansas. He had a strong relationship with the Lord and lived with a faith that shaped his life. He was a skilled and hardworking contractor who took pride in his work, and he loved hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.

He is now reunited in heaven with family members who have gone before him.

Active Pallbearers will be Logan Lease, Chance Rich, Colton Lease, Danny Tieszen, Erick Coury and Dustin Kelly.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Lease and Harley Lease.
