Funeral Service for Renea Ellen (Diamond) Gibson, 58, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Renea was born on October 2, 1967, in Altus, Oklahoma, to Bonnie Louise (Dyer) Diamond and Robert Earl Diamond, Sr. She passed away on July 29, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

She met the love of her life, Steven Mason Gibson, in 1991 and they were married on December 15, 2001, in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Together they built a life and shared many memories before he preceded her in death on July 2, 2011.

Renea found joy in spending time at the lake, going to the beach with her family, and watching her two youngest daughters in the marching band, one of whom was in the Pride of Oklahoma. She loved game days in Norman. Her greatest joy in life was being a mom and Gran Gran. She loved her daughters and granddaughters with all her heart, and they remained the center of her world. She was a strong, dependable woman who was always willing to help, and no matter the problem, her family and friends knew they could count on her. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered always by those who knew and loved her. She was the true definition of the word ‘selfless’.

She is survived by four daughters, Diamond Cantrell and Joshua of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Samantha McGee and Phillip of Warner, Oklahoma, Lily Gibson of Norman, Oklahoma, and Olivia Gibson of Muldrow, Oklahoma; three granddaughters, Kensington Cantrell and Collins Cantrell, both of Muldrow, Oklahoma and Allie Jo McGee of Warner, Oklahoma; two sisters, Hope Diamond of Moore, Oklahoma and Ramona Soliz of Oklahoma City; one brother, Richard Diamond and wife Cathy of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma; her step-mom, Ann Diamond of Moore, Oklahoma; two special sisters-in-law, Beth Gibson and Jolene Gibson, both of Muldrow, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Gibson; her parents, Bob Diamond and Bonnie Diamond; one sister, Diana Lynn Diamond; and two brothers, Robert Earl Diamond, Jr. and Ronald Eugene Diamond.

Active Pallbearers will be Phillip McGee, Joshua Cantrell, Michael Diamond, and James Martin.
