Polly Dority

Polly Dority, 84, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, passed away on November 8, 2025, in Gore, Oklahoma. She was born on May 14, 1941, in Redland, Oklahoma, to Bessie Jane (Jordan) Wagers and George Wagers.

Polly was a dedicated member of Garrison Creek Riders and had a passion for horses, often excelling in their buying and selling. Christmas held a special place in her heart, as it was her favorite time of year. After a successful 30-year career at Whirlpool Corporation, she retired and enjoyed watching the Little League World Series.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Gore Nursing Home for their exceptional care during her time there.

Polly is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Edwards and Todd of Muldrow, OK; her son, Mike Gipson and Debbie of Van Buren, AR; five grandchildren: Sabrenia Edwards of Muldrow, OK, Billy Argel Edwards of Oceanside, CA, Maranda Limore and Josh of Muldrow, OK, Brittany Gipson of Vian, OK, and Brittney Jenson and Harry of Mountainburg, AR; as well as ten great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Argel Gipson and Junior Dority; and two sisters, Norma Rogers and Betty Brown.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. Viewing will take place on Wednesday from noon to 8 PM and Thursday from 9 AM to 12:30 PM at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK, where the family will greet visitors on Wednesday from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Polly will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
