Funeral Service for Phyllis Pedersen, 80, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Blunt Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Drakestand Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on September 8, 1944 in to Frances Marion (Merritt) Osburn and Quinton Osburn and passed away on September 3, 2025 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to David M. Pedersen on June 3, 2005 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Mrs. Pederson was a landlord and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are husband, David of the home; children, Twila McGinnis and Greg of Sallisaw, OK, Laura E. Rogers of Sallisaw, OK, and Catherine McManus of Kalispell, MT; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Quinton Osburn and Barbara of Sallisaw, OK, Steve Osburn of Alma, AR, and Clayton Osburn of Alma, AR; one sister, Roxanne; and numerous other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her son, Allen Rogers; one daughter, Victoria Hammer; and her parents.

Viewing will be 10 AM - 8 PM Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
