Paula Jo Morgan

Paula Jo Morgan, 61, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on December 31, 2025 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on April 17, 1964 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Darlene (Duty) Bruton and Joe Leon Bruton. She was married to Richard David Morgan on May 9, 1981 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on November 18, 1983.

Survivors are son, Tyler Ray Sims of Sallisaw, OK; mother, Darlene Bruton of Sallisaw, OK; two sisters, Vickie Jasna of Sallisaw, OK and Misti Sharp and Mike of Muldrow, OK; three nephews, Justin Sells, Steffan Jasna and Nicholas Jasna; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Bruton; husband, Richard David Morgan; and one nephew, Dakota Sharp.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Active Pallbearers will be Tyler Sims, Steffan Jasna, Mike Sharp, Justin Sells, Nicholas Jasna and Dylan Ruddick.

Viewing will be 2 - 8 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 - 8 PM.
