Funeral Service for Paul W. Sharp, Jr., 75, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Church of Nazarene in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on October 26, 1948 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Minnie Ellen (Gipson) Sharp and Paul Walker Sharp and passed away on May 10, 2024 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He was married to Netta Faye (VanZandt) Sharp on September 20, 1965 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He was a Master Electrician for Rheem, starting in 1971 and retiring in 2004.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Amy and Wendy with Traditions Home Health Care and Sherry, Shelly and Gus with Heart of Hospice for the special care they've given Paul.
Survivors are wife, Netta Faye Sharp of the home; three daughters, Marian Dee Gilmore and Robert of Fort Smith, AR, Elizabeth Paulann Tate and Gary of Muldrow, OK and Nita LeChel Hatfield of Muldrow, OK; one son, Warren Lee Sharp of Muldrow, OK; seven grandchildren, Jeff Gilmore, Rebekah Gilmore, Heather Mott, Kati Medley, Jackey Jones, Sarah Sharp and Timothy Sharp; seven great-grandchildren, Mayson, Jayson, Athena, AvaLynn, Brison, Noah and Artie "Pumpkin"; sister, Mildred Marr and Ronnie of Muldrow, OK; brother, Kenny Sharp and Diane of Muldrow, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Fannie Riggs, Nadine McGehee and Anna Marie Crow-Jones; and two brothers, Johnny and Jim Sharp.
Active Pallbearers will be Bill Cooper, Stacy Pipkins, Gary Mouse, Brandon Sharp, Ken Sharp and Brien Sharp.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenny Hicks and Howard Edwards.
Viewing will be 10 AM - 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 - 8 PM.
