Paul Harl

Paul Harl, 76, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on October 13, 2026. Born on March 30, 1950, in Sallisaw to Dessie Margaret (Long) Harl and Charles Henry Harl, Paul worked in various roles, including store manager, school bus driver, and employee of the City of Sallisaw. He also found joy in buying and selling horses, working at horse sale barns, along with driving for the Kats bus service. His passions included horses, fishing, western movies, and country music.

Paul is remembered by his wife, Sandra Arwood of Sallisaw, OK; three daughters, Tammy Harl of Van Buren, AR, Mindy Moore, and Ashley Fahrman of Sallisaw, OK; three sons, Lonnie Charles Harl and Tracy of Edmond, OK, James Paul "J.P." Harl, and Chance Dakota Harl of Sallisaw, OK; as well as 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his best friend, Brett Anderson, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-son Travis Sanders, three sisters Thelma Lane, Linda Sue Harl, Joyce Davis, two brothers Dempsey and Charles "Sonny" Harl, and one grandchild.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 19, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, followed by burial at Buffington Cemetery. Viewing will take place from 2–8 PM on Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home.
