Patsy (Barbee) Allen

Patsy Allen, 75, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. she was born January 21, 1942 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma the daughter of John Wesley and Nora (Helton) Barbee. she was married to Carrol James Allen on February 23, 1960 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 3, 2012. She was retired from Sallisaw Police Department as a record keeper and jailer and was of the Assembly of God faith.

Son and daughter in law: Mike Allen and Shannon of Sallisaw, OK

Daughter: Jan (Wickett) Polasek and Zac of Oklahoma City, OK

4 grandchildren: Ty Allen, Stefanie (Polasek) Dodson, Brooke (Polasek) Castillo, and Seth Polasek

Sister: Faye (Barbee) Carter of Sallisaw

several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carrol James Allen; her parents, John Wesley and Nora (Helton) Barbee; 3 sisters and brothers in law, Hazel (Barbee) Richardson and Carl, Bernice (Barbee) Thomas and Warren, Helen “Sug” (Barbee) Wickett and Jimmy; brother and sister in law, Leonard “Ted” Barbee and Ethel; and brother in law, Lawrence Carter.
