Norman Ray Lancaster

Funeral Service for Norman Ray Lancaster, 93, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Norman was born on December 9, 1932, in Keota, Oklahoma, to Ollie Mae (Cagle) Lancaster and Wallace Caldwell Lancaster and passed away on September 23, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. On December 18, 1953, he married Betty Faye Lancaster in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and they shared more than 61 years together before her passing on November 18, 2015.

Norman proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He served with the 45th Infantry Division, known as the Thunderbirds, and the 188th Infantry Regiment. Following his military service, Norman worked as an electrician with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Deborah Lowe and Ronnie of Sallisaw, OK; one son, Larry Lancaster and Angela of Sallisaw, OK; four grandchildren, Norman Bradley Lancaster, Lara Kizzia, Megan Lessley, and Morgan Reaves and Chris; six great-grandchildren, Malik Lancaster, Perrin Kizzia, Addison Lessley, Kennedy Lessley, Colby Lowe, and Fayelyn Sullivan; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Faye Lancaster; his parents; one granddaughter, Mande Lowe; one sister, Wanda Shanks; and one brother, Harlan Dean Lancaster.

Viewing will be from Noon to 8:00 PM on Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
