Morgan Reichert, age 81, of Roland, Oklahoma, passed away on November 6, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born on February 25, 1944, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Laura (Tate) Reichert and Edward Gustoff Reichert, Morgan lived a life filled with love and adventure.
He shared 47 cherished years of marriage with his beloved wife, Ethelda (White) Reichert, whom he married on April 14, 1978, in Ozark, Arkansas. Together, they created a warm and loving home, surrounded by their family and friends.
An ardent lover of ranching and hunting, Morgan was known for his skills as a team roper, where he excelled as both a header and heeler. He had a special talent for bringing joy and humor to those around him, especially when it came to teasing his son-in-law, Scott.
Morgan is survived by his wife, Ethelda; his son, Kenneth Reichert and Crystal, of Roland, Oklahoma; his daughter, Phyllis Parker and Scott, also of Roland, Oklahoma; his grandson, Kyle Reichert and Haley, from Fort Riley, Kansas; as well as two brothers, Eddie Reichert and Jeannie of Muldrow, Oklahoma, and Roger Reichert and Phyllis of Roland, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Cody Reichert; his sister, Carol Ann Reichert; and one brother, Michael Reichert.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at a viewing on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 2 PM to 8 PM at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, where the family will greet visitors from 6 PM to 8 PM.
A funeral service to celebrate Morgan’s life will take place on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at the Roland City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Active pallbearers will include Heath Chapman, Trent Chapman, Sheridan Chapman, Tim Linthicum, Jimmie Shawn Barnes and Dean Reichert.
Morgan Reichert will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His spirit and memories will live on in our hearts forever.
