Michael Thomas King

Funeral service for Michael Thomas King, 76 of Claremore, Oklahoma will be at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on August 14, 1946 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Hazelgene (McLellan) King and Thomas William King and passed away on June 7, 2023 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Mr. King was a retired counselor and a U.S. Air Force Veteran where he attained the rank of Sergeant.

Survivors are one daughter, Jessica Menie and Billy of Claremore, OK; two sons, Thomas King and Monica of Muldrow, OK and Stephen King and Christina of Tontitown, AR; seven grandchildren, Dillon Menie, Matthew Holman, Morgan Holman, Chaysten Daws, Sadie Daws, Konner King and Daylon King; two great-grandchildren, Wylder Holman and Kensley Menie; three sisters, Treva Hamilton and Howard of Fayetteville, AR, Jenna Rahm of Fayetteville, AR and Dr. Patti Buxton of Edmond, OK; and several other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Active Pallbearers will be Mike Farmer, Doug McEver, Ronnie Amos, J.T. Crawford, Tommy Andrews and Don Stites.

Viewing will be noon – 8 pm Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 5 – 7 pm.
