Mike Garris

Mike Garris, age 65, of Roland, Oklahoma, passed away on April 1, 2026. Born on September 9, 1960, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, he was the son of Nada Louise (Groves) Gibson and Albert Leon Garris.

Mike was a carpet installer who enjoyed spending his leisure time visiting casinos and watching television. 

He is survived by his companion, Ella Brown of Muldrow, Oklahoma; five sisters, Elizabeth Garris, Mary Gray, and Patsy Ruiz of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Connie Garris-Miller of Van Buren, Arkansas, and Cindy Swain of Ozark, Arkansas; and three brothers, Albert Garris, Jr. and Chrystle of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Brian Garris of Minnesota, and James McAlester of Muldrow, Oklahoma. He is also remembered by many other relatives and friends, including his best friend, David Teague of Roland, Oklahoma.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Donnie Garris and Rickey Garris.

A memorial service to celebrate Mike’s life will be held at a later date under the care of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. 

Mike will be deeply missed and warmly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
