Melissa Diane Chapman

Memorial Service for Melissa Diane Chapman, 66, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Roland, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on March 28, 1959 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Joann Janet (Wilson) Daniel and Fred Daniel and passed away on September 4, 2025 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. Chapman was an educator and retired from Central Public Schools

Survivors are two sons, Scotty Chapman of Muldrow, OK and Daryl Legg and Ashley of Sallisaw, OK; four grandchildren, Dalan, Addison, Ava and Daxton; three sisters, Thelma Younger and Terry of Roland, OK, Catrina Gibbs of Roland, OK and Kristi Daniel of Fort Smith, AR; three aunts, Sandy Cooper of Roland, OK, Alice Redden of Roland, OK and Janelle Davis of Roland, OK; one uncle, Gerald Wilson and Kim of Eufaula, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Daniel and Joann (Wilson) Daniel; one brother, Charles Dale Gantt; niece, Brandy Gantt and one aunt, Melba Matlock.
