Funeral Service for Matthew Lloyd Cantwell, 36, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at First Church of the Nazarene in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on July 23, 1987 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Fonda Michelle (Lewis) Cantwell and Billy Lloyd Cantwell and passed away on October 30, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. He worked in construction and farming for WE Inc. He was of the Christian faith, loved music of all genres, was always very meticulous about his vehicles and loved being outdoors. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend who loved camping, the lake and grilling for family and friends. Matthew was the most compassionate, caring, loving and forgiving person. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Survivors are wife, Caitlin of the home; one daughter, Holland Rae Cantwell of the home; father, Lloyd Cantwell of Muldrow, OK; brother, Jonathan Cantwell of Muldrow, OK; grandmother, Barbara Lewis of Muldrow, OK; two nieces, Madalyn Williams and Jaicee Cantwell; uncle, Boyd Cantwell of Muldrow, OK; aunts, Sherry Fugett and Carl of Muldrow, OK, Rhonda Cantwell of Muldrow, OK and Lalia Warren and Josh of Wister, OK; double first cousins, JimBob Cantwell, Schulyer Cantwell, Jessica Page and Emily Cantwell; cousins, Summer Thomas, Autumn Wickett, Amy Ridenour, Ashley Spencer and Joshua Warren; mother-in-law, Linda Hall of Fort Smith, AR; and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and grandparents.
Active Pallbearers will be Heath Lowder, Burton Jack Lewis, Ross Childers, Brad Short, Chance Asher, Matt Lee, Jay Tuck and Joshua Warren.
Honorary Pallbearers will be JimBob Cantwell, Schuyler Cantwell, Ryan Dean, Dennis Patterson, Jimmy Johnson, Bob Southerland, Matt Pratt, Alex Hardin, Bebo Lewis, B.J. Hicks, Justin Pratt, JJ Gonzalez and Zach Marchant.
Viewing will be Noon – 8 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
