Mary Magdalene (Little) Merrill

The family will have a committal service for Mary Magdalene (Little) Merrill, 90, of Gans, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Fleetwood Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

She was born on October 11, 1932 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Hattie Mae (Benedict) Little and J.S. Little and passed away on April 3, 2023 in Roland, Oklahoma. She was married to Daniel Ode “Junior” Merrill on March 1, 1969 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 9, 1998. She was a caregiver and of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors are one son, Tracy Merrill and Heather of Roland, OK; daughter-in-law, Andrea Merrill Nofire of Roland, OK; four grandchildren, Aaron Merrill and Ashley of Central, OK, Shawnda Gibbs and Dustin of Gans, OK, Brandon Merrill and Lacy of Muldrow, OK and Robert Mulligan of Van Buren, AR; 11 great-grandchildren, Kelsey Merrill, Paitton Merrill, Billy Gibbs, Cody Gibbs, Devan Gibbs, Tyler Gibbs, Malachi Niedecker, Piper Allen, Blakey Allen, Lynnlee Merrill and Maggie Merrill; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Ode “Junior” Merrill; parents; one brother, John Little; two sisters, Adeline Stringfellow and Virginia Miska.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
