Mary (McClure) Barger

Funeral Service for Mary (McClure) Barger, 79 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 13, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on August 15, 1944 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Iva (Holland) McClure and Cornelious Robert McClure and passed away on May 8, 2024 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.  She was married to Don Barger on Aug. 15, 1973 in Muskogee, OK. She worked in Human Resources at Borg Warner and attended the Sallisaw First Assembly of God Church. 

Survivors are husband, Don of the home; three sisters, Martha Taylor and Lee of Sallisaw, OK, Brenda Bryant and Victor of Sallisaw, OK and Linda Bush of Marble City, OK; two brothers, Cecil McClure of Sallisaw, OK and Connie McClure and Ethel of Sallisaw, OK; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, Hubert, Hulan and John as infants, then Leon, Wayne, Clayborn and Clayton McClure; and one nephew, Mark McClure.

Active Pallbearers will be Dennis McClure, Mike Jamison, Jerry Hale, Cody Hale, Cameron Cottrell and Johnny McClure.

Viewing will be  3 - 6 PM Saturday and 2 - 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 3 - 5 PM Sunday.
