She was born on March 26, 1950 in Marble City, Oklahoma to Gearldean (Stroup) Drown and Vernon Curtis Boyd and passed away on July 1, 2024 in Marble City, Oklahoma. She was a counselor.

Survivors are mother and step-father, Gearldean Drown and Byron of Hobbs, NM; two brothers, Curtis Boyd and Rosita of Marble City, OK and Mike Drown of Hobbs, NM; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Boyd; one sister, Kathy Clayton; and three brothers, Billy Boyd, Ricki Boyd and Darren Drown.
