Marjorie Jeanette Moore

Celebration of Life for Marjorie Jeanette Moore, 82, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on August 3, 1942 in Mena, Arkansas to Clarence and Hazel Essman. She went to be with the Lord on July 10, 2025 in Pocola, Oklahoma. She was married to Orval M. Moore on June 4, 1962 in Poteau, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on March 17, 2007. Marjorie was a former restaurant worker and healthcare provider. She loved her family and the Lord and was a member of Akins Assembly of God Church.

Survivors are two sons, Darrell Moore and Bridgett, and Charley Moore and Vicki; one daughter, Debra Henson; three grandsons, Cobe Moore, Collin Moore and Dillon Moore; one great-granddaughter, Emma Moore; three sisters, Carol Shephard, Marcella Cano, and Sandra Dale; one brother, Ricky Shores; one uncle, J.L. Dugan; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one sister, Betty.
