Funeral Service for Marie (Blackbird) Sevenstar, 50 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Blunt Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Evening Shade Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on July 15, 1974 in Marble City, Oklahoma to Lucy Mae (Blackbird) Sequichie and Joe Sequichie and passed away on June 5, 2025 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. She was married to Michael Wayne Sevenstar in 2007. She worked as a home health caregiver and was a loving Maw Maw.

Survivors are husband, Michael of the home; one daughter, Mika Sevenstar of Muldrow, OK; one son, Bradley Sevenstar of Muldrow, OK; granddaughter, Azalea Sevenstar; mother, Lucy Mae Sequichie of Vian, OK; father, Joe Sequichie of Vian, OK; two sisters, Rebecca Vargas of Muldrow, OK and Joanna Marin of Vian, OK; two brothers, Mike Roberson of Iowa and Justice Conpean of Vian, OK; nieces, Layla, Kenesha, Angel, Montana and Tara; nephews, Samuel, Johnathan, Wesley, Cameron, Frankie, Johnathan and Shane; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Blake Sevenstar and sister, Peggy Sequichie.

Active Pallbearers will be Jason Byrd, Roylee Sanders, Cameron Sevenstar, Stormy Metheny, Ty Peters and Jacob Sevenstar.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Frankie Sevenstar, Bill Soap, David Steel, Jordan Tyler and Rick Teehee.

Viewing will be 2 - 8 PM Sunday and 10 AM - 1 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow.

Wake will start at 2 PM Monday at 602 N. Main in Marble City, OK.
