She was born on August 28, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and passed away on November 17, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was married to David Carl Bateman on April 20, 1974 in Big Springs, Texas. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2014. Mrs. Bateman was a restaurant cook.

Survivors are one daughter, Teresa Bateman-Miller and Rusty of Sallisaw, OK; two sons, David Bateman of Sallisaw, OK and Bryan Bateman of Sallisaw, OK; nine grandchildren, Alisha, Ethan, Athena, Jason, Jacob, Brandy, Hailey, Wisper and Zackery; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Terry Paschal of Oklahoma City, OK; one brother, Tony Paschal of Oklahoma City, OK; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, Vicky Placker and Linda Bateman and brother, Hawkshaw Paschal.
