Linda Marie Leaf

Graveside Service for Linda Marie Leaf, 72, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Dwight Mission Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Linda Marie Leaf was born on July 18, 1951 in Roundup, Idaho. She is preceded in death by her mother, LaVerne Mae (Calderwood) Corgiat and her father, Louis Corgiat; her brother, Brent Corgiat; and her husband, Richard Floyd Leaf. She is survived by her daughter and best friend, Sheila Mae Leaf; sister-in-law, Doris Wallace of Sallisaw, OK; sister, Mary Woodland; brother-in-law, Teddy Woodland of Cibolo, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. 

Linda was said to have hitched hiked to Oklahoma when she was in her late teens. Linda married Richard Floyd Leaf, and he was close to 55 and Linda was almost 38 when she had their first and only child, their daughter, Sheila Mae Leaf. Richard passed and Linda was widowed when Sheila was only ten years old. 

In recent years Linda has gotten to spend many fun times with her daughter, Sheila. Besides regular shopping trips together and all of Sheila's holidays off, Linda attended all EARC party functions in order to enjoy more time an make memories with Sheila!

She was part of many of Sheila's roommates birthdays, too. Always remembering them with beautiful birthday cards and favorite items for gifts. Linda always found the most beautiful cards to give for all occasions and would write such sweet notes in each card. 

Calvin Wright with EARC, was one of Linda's favorite advocates in recent years. Sheila noted how Calvin helped Linda during the pandemic, making sure she had basic supplies, and in recent years with her cataract post-surgery protocols, then he helped Linda get home health services in place, too. 

We will always remember Linda for the love of her daughter, Sheila, who was the best daughter and friend a mother could ever want!
