Lillian Pearl (Ettredge) Covington

Lillian Pearl (Ettredge} Covington, age 84, passed away in her Muldrow, Oklahoma home on Monday, March 24, 2025. She was born in Galveston, Texas on December 17, 1940 to Anthony Ettredge and Marie (Zipprian) Ettredge. She was a graduate of Texas City High School. She married Jessie Ray Covington on January 15, 1971 and were married for 48 years at the time of his passing. Lillian was a loving homemaker. Lillian had many hobbies over the years that included quilting, ceramics, crochet, and cooking.

She is survived by her brothers: Richard and wife Jane Ettredge of Georgetown, TX., Pat McGrory and wife Judy of Georgetown, TX., Mark Ettredge and wife Brenda of Trussville, AL., Mike Ettredge and wife Barbara of Pilot Point TX., Blake Ettredge and wife Michelle of Whitesboro TX.; sister: Debbie Wells and husband Wayne of McKinney, TX.; daughters: Melissa Maio and husband David of Elgin Tx, Lillian McClurg of Muldrow, OK; sons: Jessie Covington Jr. and wife Stephanie of Temple GA., Craig Covington and wife Kim of Santa Fe, TX., Bruce Covington and wife Gina of Texas City, TX., Steve Covington and wife Lisa of Palestine Tx., Clayton Williams and wife Kristy of Midland, TX; 15 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Ettredge and Marie (Zipprian) Ettredge, and Betty Ettredge; brother, Charles Ettredge; daughter, Shela Brewster; and grandson, David Brewster.

Thanks to Heart of Hospice for their compassionate care in her last days.

There will be a celebration of life and placement of ashes to take place in Texas at a later date.
