She was born on April 3, 1953 in Gore, Oklahoma to Betsy Ann (Chewie) Smith and Redflag Smith and passed away on March 12, 2024 in Vian, Oklahoma. Mrs. Garrett was a certified nursing assistant and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are one son, Terry Blankenship and Melissa of Vian, OK; one daughter, Cheryl Neal and Tony of Vian, OK; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Christopher Blankenship and Brandon Reece; parents; two brothers, Jerry Smith and Leroy Henry; and two sisters, Wilma Robertson and Clara Hardin.
Viewing will be 10 am - 8 pm Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
