Funeral Service for Leona Loretta May Menie, 84, of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Assembly of God Church in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on March 4, 1940 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Lila Vaye (Judkins) Menie and Otis Menie and passed away on May 14, 2024 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.  Loretta graduated from Webber Falls High School with the class of 1958. She worked for the Muskogee Country Club in Muskogee, Oklahoma, where she dedicated 22 years of service before she retired in March 2002. Almost immediately after retiring she became an avid advocate for Jesus Christ. She spent her retirement years on the phone with her kids and grandchildren, watching her favorite preacher, Jimmy Swaggart, and stepping into the role as our family "prayer warrior." This was a task she held in the highest of regards. She would speak aloud the names of every member of her family and anyone else's that she knew had a need. She chanted her prayer every night when her head hit the pillow. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Survivors are three daughters, Dianna Pevehouse and Ronnie, Rhonda Putsche, and Tammy Cox, all of Webbers Falls, OK; one son, Greg Brown and Tammy of Mack, CO; two step-sons, Mike Johnson of Fort Gibson, OK and Greg Johnson and Angela of Fort Gibson, OK; three grandchildren, who were the absolute joys of her life, Casey Pevehouse and Mindie, Roni-Lynn Burrough and Jeff, and Charlee Ballard and Dakota; nine great-grandchildren, Drew, Devon and Lila Pevehouse, Cash and Dusti-Lynn Burrough, Jordan Beckett, Liston Bell, and Jeter and Carter Ballard; one sister, Nancy Sadler of Greenwood, AR; and a cherished friend and healthcare provider, DD Spoon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sonya Liston; one son, Rodney Brown; two brothers, Mutt and Jack Menie; and three sisters, Dorothy Pritt, Ruth Shirley and Mary Lou Harp.

Active Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
