Kathie Jane Jennings

Kathie Jane Jennings, age 78, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on April 5, 2026. Born on December 26, 1947, in Perry, Iowa, to Iva Josephine (Lancaster) Foss and Floyd Albert Foss, Kathie’s early years were spent in Eunice, New Mexico, where she moved at the age of four. It was there that she met the love of her life, Charles Woodrow Jennings. They married in 1965 and shared a lifetime of love and commitment, raising three children together. Charles preceded her in death on May 11, 2017.

Kathie devoted many years to serving the Eunice Public Schools as a teacher’s aide, nurturing and supporting students in their educational journeys. She was a devoted member of her church community, known for her musical talents as a pianist, her dedication in teaching Sunday School, and her joyful participation in the choir. Kathie also enjoyed painting and was a talented artist, finding great joy in expressing her creativity. She was deeply loved for her faithfulness and kindness throughout her life.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Larry Jennings and his wife, Jammie, of Burlison, Texas; her daughters, Kristi Jennings of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Karla Rawlings and her husband, Bobby, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; as well as 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many other relatives and cherished friends.

Kathie was preceded in death by her husband Charles; and her parents, Floyd and Iva Foss.

A cremation service is being arranged by Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
