Karen Faye (Wilson) Powell

A memorial service for Karen Faye Powell, 64 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 6:30 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 809 South Elm Street in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

She was born on May 11, 1959 in Porterville, California to Carolyn (Tabor) Southern and Jim Wilson and passed away on June 13, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was married to Billie Swearingen on January 5, 2006 in St. Andrews, FL. Karen worked in construction and motel security.

Survivors are wife, Billie of the home; daughter, Lacy Short of Sallisaw, OK; step-daughter, Hannah Adams of Bonifay, FL; four grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren; ex-husband, Brad Powell whom she considered one of her best friends; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Darren Wilson.

Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
