Funeral Service for Kalyn James Turpin, 27, of Gans, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Roland City Cemetery in Roland, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on April 7, 1996 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Kim Diane (Lawson) Turpin and Keith Dwayne Turpin and passed away on May 27, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Survivors are parents, Keith and Kim (Lawson) Turpin of Gans, OK; one brother, Kelton Turpin and Catlin of Sallisaw, OK; one sister, Haley Norman and Chris of Fort Worth, TX; two nephews, Jordash Turpin of Sallisaw, OK and Lucas Norman of Fort Worth, TX; two nieces, Zoey and Niylah Norman of Fort Worth, TX; grandmother, Carolyn Turpin of Gans, OK; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jesse Turpin; one aunt, Lise Turpin; and his grandmother, Rachel (Johnson) Connacher.

Active Pallbearers will be Bobby Lawson, Chris Norman, Andrew Van Scott, David Jones, Jason Boyett, Stan Releford and Cameron “Cam” Young.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
