Johnny Dale Floyd

May 10, 1953 — June 14, 2023

Funeral service for Johnny Dale Floyd, 70 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 19, 2023 at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on May 10, 1953 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Virginia Lee (Lowrimore) Floyd and Johnny Doyle Floyd and passed away on June 14, 2023 in Muldrow, Oklahoma.  He was married to Virginia Ann (Overton) Floyd on November 17, 1972 in Greenwood, Arkansas and they made a decision very early on to serve the Lord. That decision led them to spending over 45 years in ministry, both as pastors and missionaries. Dale pastored churches in both Oklahoma and Arkansas, and God allowed him the opportunity to lead thousands to the Lord.

Dale had a variety of interests, including riding motorcycles, collecting all kinds of things, and building houses. He managed to turn each of these hobbies into successful business ventures. Dale never made a bad deal and was known for his incredible ability to turn one dollar into two.

Dale also loved to spend time in his study and to be with family. He never met a stranger and he would often pray for people he had just met. When his grandkids were younger, he and Virginia hosted Mema and Papa Camp. This was a fun time with the grandkids but it also gave him the opportunity to share the Word of God with his family. Dale could relate anything back to the Bible. He studied it every day, and gained a rich knowledge of the Word.

Dale loved his wife, Virginia, and spreading the Word of God was a passion they both shared. Together they built a family and a legacy of loving the Lord.

Dale will be missed here on Earth but we know he is celebrating in Heaven with Jesus.
