Graveside Service for Johnny Bird, 82, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 3, 2025 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on October 9, 1943 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Nancy (Pettit) Bird and Jim Bird and passed away on October 25, 2025 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was a furniture upholsterer.

Survivors are son, Jonathan Bird and Rebecca Nofire of Muldrow, OK; two grandchildren, Malachi Bird and Liam Bird; two sisters, Eliza Stroup of Sallisaw, OK, and Polly Poe of Comanche, OK; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Juanita Adams and four brothers, Charlie, Tuth, Bill, and Robert Bird.

Viewing will be 2 - 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw where the family will greet 4 - 6 pm.
