Funeral Service for John Kenneth Acton, 81, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Lee's Chapel Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved father, John Kenneth Acton, 81, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, who left us on June 23, 2024. He was born on March 20, 1943 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Opal Ethelen (Jones) Acton and John Thomas Acton. He was married to Mahnut "Toye" Acton on November 20, 1967 in Bangkok, Thailand. John had a great sense of humor and wisdom and was a man loved by many who knew him. He had many interests and hobbies, ranging from fishing, hunting, photography, competition shooting, and gunsmith to name a few. But most of all, he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. 

John was proud to serve in The United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a proud 32nd Degree Freemason, member of Muldrow Bruton Lodge #30 and active in the Muldrow VFW Post 8384 for many years.

Survivors are wife, Mahnut "Toye" Acton of the home; two sons, Manue Acton and Duangjai of Spiro, OK and Vichan Acton and Kosin of Muldrow, OK; two daughters, Maude Elaine King and Johnny of Muldrow, OK and Nopnila Rengstorf and Joshua of Bentonville, AR; seven grandchildren, Chad, Josh, Ariel, Tychan, Samantha, Kaitlyn and Kochan; four great-grandchildren, Aniyah, Alicyn, Naomi and Josiah; one brother, Thomas Acton and Charlotte of Garland, TX; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and a great-grandson.

Active Pallbearers will be Tewa Tramel, Joshua Rengstorf, Joshua Acton, Norman Harrold, Tychan Acton, Michael Mullins, Chad Oliver and Johnny King.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Oliver and Bobby Jones. 

Viewing will be 10 AM - 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 5 - 7 PM.
