Joanna Lynne Risenhoover

Joanna Lynne Risenhoover, 44, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on April 19, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born December 6, 1981, in Talihina, Oklahoma, to Tenita (James) Ritter and Gerry Myers.

Joanna married Bobby Risenhoover on June 28, 2001, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She worked as a die press operator at Cellofoam and was of the Southern Baptist faith.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Bobby Risenhoover; her daughter, Joleen Hysmith and Caleb of Tifton, Georgia; her three sons, Tristen Risenhoover and Amanda of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Johnathan Howard and Charisma of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, and Jacob Howard of Topsham, Maine; as well as her grandchildren, Emmett James Gollihar-Risenhoover, Johnathan Howard, Jr., Vivian Howard, and one grandchild on the way and one granddaughter, Kiah, on the way. Joanna is also survived by her two sisters, Cheryl Kidwell and Michelle Haddox and David, both of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; along with many other relatives and friends who held her dearly.

Joanna was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Tenita Ritter; and her brother-in-law, Martin Kidwell, Jr.

Cremation services are under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. 

The family cherishes the memories of Joanna’s life and the love she shared with all who knew her.
