Funeral Service for Jerry Jackson Walters, 86 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on December 18, 1937, to Elsie Irene (Seratt) Walters and Euil Jack Walters and passed away on March 18, 2024 in Roland, Oklahoma. He was married to Betty Jean (Smith) Walters. She preceded him in death on June 2, 2023. Mr. Walters was a brick layer, block layer, truck driver and bait shop owner. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors are one daughter, Debra Looper of Roland, OK; one son, Dennis Garrett of Muldrow, OK; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy McAllister of Muldrow, OK, and Donna Butcher of Muldrow, OK; and numerous other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; one son, Mark Walters; and one daughter, Cynthia Phillips.

Active Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Phillips, Shane Allen, Jerry Prewett, James Smith, Riley Smith, Tony Smith, and Buzz Smith. 

Viewing will be  noon - 8 pm Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow .
