Jerry "Tom" Hale

Funeral Service for Jerry “Tom” Hale, 91, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Tom was born on July 18, 1935, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, to Luby Ava (Brewer) Hale and Tom Pete Hale and passed away on September 18, 2026, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

He married Edith Kibbee Hale on December 29, 1982, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, and they shared many years together until her passing on January 26, 2010.

Tom was a hardworking man who spent more than 30 years as a forklift operator with Holly Carburetor and Borg Warner. He also proudly served his country in the military. Away from work, Tom enjoyed farming and was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan. Above all, he cherished his family and the many years and memories they shared together.

Survivors include step-children, Sammie and Janet Kibbee of Texas, Roy and Beth Kibbee of Oklahoma, and Jerry Don and Marilyn Kibbee of Sallisaw, OK; several grandchildren, including David and Bobbie Real of the home, Jennifer and Terry Lacore of Texas, Jason and Veronica Kibbee of Texas, Tammy and Jerry Henry of Sallisaw, OK, Jeremy Don Kibbee of Sallisaw, OK, and Michael Todd and Kristy Kibbee; several great-grandchildren, including Harley and Jarrod McGarrah, J.T. and Allie Real, and Lacey and David Hill, all of the home; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Hale; his parents, Luby Ava and Tom Pete Hale; step-daughter, Vickie Real; and two brothers, Gaylen and Gary Hale.

Active Pallbearers will be David Real, J.T. Real, Jarrod McGarrah, David Hill, Sammie Kibbee, and Roy Kibbee.

Viewing will be Noon to 8:00 PM on Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, where the family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
